December 16th 2020
Last nights of December 12th and 14th, two nice Geminids could be registered with the SMART Project’s detectors located at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Hita (Toledo) and Seville observatories.
In fact there were a lot of Geminids during last nights.These ones are only a couple of examples of what are happening during these nights.
This two were also registered with the external surveillance webcams of Calar Alto Observatory in Almería.
At 23h40 UT on December 2nd a nice fireball lighted up again the Mediterranean Sea skies.
This object could be registered with the SMART Project's detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierran Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo) and Seville observatories.
This fireball could also be recorded with the Calar Alto Observatory (Almería) south surveillance webcam.
November 22nd 2020
After the night of November 21st, with three fireballs above South Spain skies, on November 22nd at 00h54 UT another fireball illuminated the skies.
This object could be registered with the SMART Project's detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierran Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo) and Seville observatories.
This fireball could also be recorded with two of the Calar Alto Observatory external surveillance webcams.
November 21st 2020
Up to three bright fireballs could be registered on the night of November 21st 2020.
First one at 00h47 UT, second one at 01h21 UT and the last one a few minutes after, at 01:32 UT.
All of them could be recorded with the SMART Project's detector located at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo) and Seville observatories.
Calar Alto Observatory external surveillance webcams could also follow those objects.
All of them had a cometary origin.
November 16th 2020
At 02h49 UT (03h49 local time) of November 16th 2020, a bright fireball soared through the skies of the southern Iberian Peninsula.
This object could be registered with the SMART Project's detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Seville and La Hita (Toledo) observatories.
The West external surveillance camera located at Calar Alto Observatory could also detect this phenomena.
