May 15th 2021
Last May 14th 2021, at 02h25 UT, a bright fireball flew above west part of Mediterranean Sea.
The fireball could be registered with the SMART Project’s detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Hita (Toledo) and Seville observatories.
Calar Alto Observatory South external surveillance webcam could also record the event.
May 7th 2021
On May 4th, 2021, shortly before 11 pm (Central European Summer Time), the Calar Alto webcam pointing North recorded this video showing a curious phenomenon, visible to the naked eye. Daniel Marín, an expert in astronautics, identified that it was a Falcon 9 rocket from the SpaceX company, launched from Cape Canaveral (USA) on the same day at 9 pm CEST. This partially reusable rocket carried on board 60 satellites for the Starlink broadband project.
April 23rd 2021
Last April 23rd 2021, at 04h03 UT, a nice Lyrid flew above Mediterranean Sea, just in front of Murcia Region coasts.
This object could be registered with the SMART Project’s detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo) and Seville observatories.
Calar Alto Observatory northeast external surveillance webcam could also follow this event.
March 28th 2021
At 04:21 UT of March 28th 2021, a bright fireball could be seeing above the north part of Andalucía and the south of Castilla La Mancha.
This object was registered with the SMART Project's detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Sagra (Granada) and La Hita (Toledo), Sevilla and Madrid observatories.
The north surveillance camera operated at Calar Alto Observatory in Almería, could also record this phenomena.

- Fireball crossing Andalucía and Castilla La Mancha (South Spain) border on March 17th
- Fireball above Alborán Sea (Southwest Mediterranean) on March 15th
