At 23:54:50 UT on August 30th, 2014, a bright fireball was observed with the fireball detection station located at Calar Alto Observatory. It was also observed at other similar stations: Centro de Experimentación de El Arenosillo, El Observatorio de Sierra Nevada (OSN) and Observatorio de La Hita.
The initial altitude was 133 Km over the sea level, while the final one was 85 Km. Its entry angle was 11º with respect to the horizon. The fireball was follwing a cometary orbit before impacting with the atmosphere.
