Last June 25 2016, another fireball flew over Andalusia's skies, this time over Córdoba and Jaen provinces, as you can see on the image below, showing the object projection over the ground. The event was registered by SMART Project detectors at 4:28 local time (2:28 UT). 
The fireball could be recorded by fireball detection stations at Calar Alto, La Hita, La Sagra and Sevilla observatories, together with Calar Alto west external surveillance webcam.
Following the preliminary analysis carried out by the SMART Project PI, Professor José María Madiedo (University of Huelva), the event happened as consequence of the impact against earth atmosphere of a meteoroid at a speed close to 72.000 km/h. The fireball started at an altitude of 84 km and flew over Córdoba and Jaen moving to the east. The luminous reflections that can be observed at both the top image and the video from the fireball detection camera, correspond with the object's spectral emission.

Calar Alto (CAHA) fireball detection station, together with the one at the Observatory of Sierra Nevada (IAA-CSIC) and others placed at different locations in Spain, are part of the S.M.A.R.T. project led by Professor José María Madiedo (University of Huelva) to track that kind of objects. Specifically, Calar Alto (CAHA) station and the one at Sierra Nevada (IAA-CSIC) constitute a collaboration agreement between Professor Madiedo and both institutions.
